We were fortunate enough to get to go home to Idaho for Christmas. I was able to get off a little over a week from work. :) We spent the first part of the week with Jonathan's family and saw many of our friends in Pocatello and the second part of the week we spent it with my family. We had a wonderful time and it felt like the week went by really fast. We can't wait to go back and see family again.
Jonathan has just finished up his third block of med school. I can't believe that he only has about 8 weeks left and he will be done with his first year. I feel like it wasn't too long ago we were still waiting to here from all of the school he interviewed at and we were moving out here to North Carolina.
the last few months have been busy and I haven't really felt so good (more about that in the next post) so we haven't gotten out a done anything outside of our normal routine. But for our birthday we did go to Charleston, SC. It is such a cool place if you've never been you should try to go sometime. We plan on going back because a weekend just wasn't enough time to see and do everything we wanted to. We ate delicious Thai food, walked on the boardwalk and down King Street, hit up the outlet mall and a lot more. We spent some much needed one on one time together and it was great. Here are some pictures from our trip.
On our way home we drove to Aiken, to see my cousin Tami and her family. It was nice to get to see them and catch up for a bit before we headed home.
